Dame Ingrid Roscoe DCVO, DL, FSA

Dame Ingrid Roscoe was Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire from 2004 until her retirement on 1 September 2018. She continues as a Deputy Lieutenant until she reaches the age of 75 in May 2019. She is a historian and a renowned expert in the field of sculpture and is involved with a wide range of local charities. When she retired as Lord-Lieutenant, her successor Ed Anderson paid tribute to her service in the post, saying ‘Dame Ingrid has carried out her duties with great charm and dignity over the past 14 years and West Yorkshire is deeply indebted to her
